What Do Moms Really Want For Mothers Day?

Mother's Day 2016
Jewelry, chocolate, reservations at the famous brunch spot are all great. While I'm sure your mother would be happy to receive these tokens of affection, what she really cares to do on a day of celebrating being a mother is taking a day off from being one.
So there's no need in spending hundreds of dollars to tell your mom you love her. According to many moms I spoke with, here are the ingredients to a perfect Mother's Day. Try them at home.
1. Let Her Sleep.
What we often forget is that being a mother in today's world is exhausting. She juggles work, kids, making dinner, and cleaning every day. So letting her sleep late will cost you nothing and mean everything to her.
P.S. Not only is sleep crucial for mom's health and skin, it also affects her mood for the rest of the day.
2. Do The Cleaning and Cooking.
Not having to do laundry, dishes, or cleaning up the houses for just a day, and let mom read her favorite book or take a bath instead is all she needs!  A lot of the moms said: "I wish I'd never have to clean again!" or "All I want the most is a self-cleaning house".
3. A Spa Day.
A massage, mani/pedi, or facial are all wonderful gifts to show moms how much they are appreciated. Older kids could get creative and set up a home spa with candles, homemade scrubs, and Nazelle facial cleansing brush instead of an expensive facial.
4. Affordable and Meaningful Gifts.
I asked my mom which gift she would love the most and she said "Anything that is meaningful". So, I thought, why not get her something that costs very little but eases her busy everyday routine?! Hair straightening brush or Berrisom Lip Tint are perfect gift for a busy mom, along with all the other steps above.

Men Prefer Women with Straight Hair, According to Million Matchmaker Patti Stanger

                     hair straightening brush
Curly vs straight hair? That is a million dollar question, isn't it.
Why do women with curls always want to straighten their hair, and women with straight hair always have the need to curl it?
I have had straight hair my whole life and curled it only for special occasions. So, recently I purchased a curling iron and was ready for some change. At the same time, I have friends who have curly hair and routinely go to the salon to have it straightened. Unlike me, they spend hours and hundred of dollars to get the look.
On top of it all, back in 2010 straight-haired Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stangertweeted: "OK, naturally curly bunch. I like stylish curly/wavy hair, but my millionaire men don't. So go buy a flat iron..."
Needless to say, Stanger made lots of women unhappy with such a statement. Curly-haired women from naturalcurly.com argued that men never had a problem with super-sexy curls on Beyonce and Shakira.
So, what hairstyle do men prefer? I was very curious to find an answer to this question, so I searched until I stumbled upon an article written by Taryn Brill back in '08.
She did an experiment, where she took pictures of herself with straight and curly hair and asked five men for their opinions. Here are some examples:
"It's just a distraction," he said. "I want to look in your face, and all I'm seeing is hair going everywhere. So I'm seeing the hair go all over the place instead of just keying in on your eyes."
"She looks to me like she's trying to get a husband really fast," one of the men said about her curly hair.
However, it is important to remember - no matter which look you want today, your hair's health should always be a priority. Straightening hair with chemicals, as well as flat irons, can be crucial for your hair's health. Therefore, if you want to straighten your hair, without hurting and burning it, try using Nazelle's Hair Straightener Brush
hair straightening brush can be a very rewarding investment. It will only take a few minutes and a few bucks to recreate your salon hair at home with only a straightening hair brush.
Do you agree with Stanger that guys aren't into curly hair? Or do you think it's best to stay comfortable, while adding some change here and there?

Electric Face Cleansing Brush Reviews. Top 5 Picks of Game-Changing Facial Brushes

By now, you've seen me talk about importance of facial cleansing brushesa lot. I can't stress enough how most women disregard such a critical part of face cleansing routine. Cleaning your skin correctly can dramatically change your facial skin's overall health and look.
So, now I want to talk about picking out the best face cleansing brush. With the beauty market growing and expanding every single day, choosing the best facial brush can get complicated. But don't worry, I got your back! I have tested many facial products over years and landed on my top 5 facial brushes. Based on my thorough research - which included trying out every single one of these brushes and going through consumer's feedback and reviews - these 5 brands made the cut because of the following reasons.
Reason 1. They made consumers happy. There's really no one better to tell you if the product gets the job done, than the people who have used and tested it. I have found that only a few brushes get generally positive feedback. However, it is important to understand that one brush is not going to make everyone happy. Therefore, I will also mention their fallbacks in my reviews.
Reason 2. Most of these brushes are clinically proven to make your skin better. With today's growing market, it's no surprise that we get cynical about most of new products on shelves. Therefore, some companies go the extra mile to test their product and back it up with clinical studies.
Reason 3. The features of the brushes. Each one of the products I will mention have unique features, that are truly useful to us. One small detail can change our lives and cleanse habits forever.

CLARISONIC

Clarisonic
It's safe to say that Clarisonic is where everything started. They made their first facial cleansing brush back in 2004 and today they have 7 versions available for purchase: Mia 1, Mia 2, Mia 3, Mia Fit, Alpha Fit, SMART Profile, and Plus.
Clarisonic brushes use brush heads that move through sonic technology. The bristles oscillate as they deep cleanse and get rid of your skin’s oil, dirt, and other unwanted particles. However, bristles are known to collect bacteria, which tend to cause breakouts. Therefore, it is recommended to replace brush heads every 3-4 months.
During the first few weeks of usage, you might experience what we call the “purging phase” This phase is a temporary stage to allow all the trapped dirt particles to move to the surface of the skin and eventually get “purged.”
When you unbox your package, you’ll get your Clarisonic facial cleansing brush, an inductive charger, a free cleanser, and extra brush heads. Also, depending on the model you’ve purchased, you’ll get a free accessory such as a storage case.
Price - $149.00 -$265 + Replacement Brush Heads.

SONICLEAR BY MICHAEL TODD

Soniclear
Of all the non-Clarisonic brands out there, it appears that the Soniclear is giving these other companies a run for their money to quickly becoming Clarisonic’s biggest rival.
According to their website, Soniclear is the world’s first facial brush to have an antimicrobial product protection feature. With this feature, there are two benefits that you can expect. One, your brush heads can last longer. Instead of 3 months, you can change your brush heads every after 6 months. Second, microbes that cause breakouts are eliminated (although, I'm not sure how true that is).
Another feature that Soniclear face brushes have is C-Boost Collagen Technology. According to Michael Todd, this technology has been clinically proven to improve the appearance of fine lines, the skin’s firmness, and the skin’s texture.
Soniclear brushes also come with an inductive charger. But unlike Clarisonic, the charging base also acts as a storage cradle.
Price - $99-$149 + Replacement Brush Heads.

FOREO LUNA

foreo
This face brush is definitely a sensational product, because unlike Clarisonic or Soniclear (and many many more bristle brushes), it uses a Silicone-based cleansing system.
It still works through sonic technology, but instead of using bristles, they use silicone micro-fingers that do the pulsations. As advertised, the Luna removes 99.5% of oil and dirt.
The Luna has two areas – the front and the back. The front part is called the “cleansing side” and the back part is called the “anti-aging” side.
Bristle-type facial brushes usually have one or two settings. But with the Luna, you’ll get 8 speed options. On the device, there is a “+” and “-” signs that you can use to suit your preference. Also, the fact that it is not a bristle based brush is obviously huge. You will never have to replace a brush head again! That is, by far, the most hygienic and money saving feature ever. However, as you probably expected, the price runs a little higher that our bristle brushes.
Price - $169-$199.

NAZELLE FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH

Nazelle silicone facial cleansing brush is an affordable alternative to Foreo Luna, that uses silicone micro fingers, that deliver up to 6000 pulsations a minute. The face brush cleans, exfoliates, and massages your skin. If you want to exfoliate, choose a higher speed for pulsations. I should warn you, over-exfoliating your skin can really cause some damage, so do it no more than once a week.
If you want a gentle cleanse that will remove 99% of make-up residue, oil, and dirt, use it every day for 1-2 minutes at a lower speed. WIN!
Just like Foreo, the back side is considered to be "anti-aging". The massager feels great on your skin, as well as helps improve the production of collagen, which is responsible for your skin's staying young and firm. WIN-WIN!
Some more benefits of this brush:
  • 1. It's waterproof
  • 2. Portable and lightweight
  • 3. Anti-bacterial - silicone prevents bacteria growth.
  • 4. Long battery life - charge it 2-3 times a year!
WIN-WIN-WIN!
Price - $44.99.

OLAY PRO X

Olay ProX
The ProX is ideal for people who are looking for a cheaper alternative to the Clarisonic or Soniclear, and those that prefer a rotating brush head over a vibrating one. Aside from those, you might also be interested in the ProX because it has two speed settings – one speed option for your daily deep cleansing needs, and another for gentle exfoliation. It comes with a cleansing foam head that you should replace every 3 months.
Since it’s from Olay, expect that a team of dermatologists is involved in its creation. As advertised, this device is designed with the Global Derm Alliance, an alliance between Olay and a group of “world-renowned” experts.
Price - $29.99 + Replacement Brush Heads.

This concludes my reviews of Top 5 Facial Brushes out there! Regardless, of what you decide to get, do it soon. Your skin and wallet deserve it. Save yourself from expensive trips to SPA salons and dermatologists' offices. Take care of your beautiful skin and it will thank you for years and years to come.
XOXO,
Nazelle
